Welcome to the Civil Service Examination Blog

I am Jed Tedor, a Civil Service Professional Passer and a Registered Electrical Engineer. I took the civil service professional eligibility exam when I was 21 years old, in Cagayan de Oro, Region X on a Sunday morning of July 27, 2008. It was a tiring day overall, I got knocked off in the theatre as I watched The Dark Knight, which was showing at that time. The result was released around October of the same year, I nearly forgot about the exam as I thought I had failed it. It was, after all, very very difficult. About 52,000 took and luckily I am one of the 5, 286 who passed it. It was a very a good feeling to have passed a qualifying exam. To what the exam qualifies for, I didn't know. I took the exam as a practice exam for my upcoming electrical board exam, which I took a year after.

ABOUT THIS BLOG: This Blog post will tackle about the exam process, i'll post my certificate and sample pictures here, I'll post the results and exam schedule. It will talk everything you need to know about passing the civil service examination.. Pls. follow me as I will continue on posting as the days go by. I hope this blog helps those who will take the exams for the first time and help realize the past mistakes for those who have failed it.

    Sub pro doesn't have an analogy logic subject while the professional has the analogy logic exam.

    To Mr. Jed, I would just want to thank you for sharing your reviewer which I used together with my existing CSC Reviewer/Book. I managed to pass the CSC Prof. exam last 26 October 2014 in one take. And now I would like to share the exact breakdown and number of items of the recently concluded CSC exam.     admin paki double check po ng answer keys nyo po. yung sa actual exam sample nyo po, mali mali po yung answer key ng numericals/ mathematics. from 111 to 150. halos lahat po ay mali so kinunsider ko na po na mali n lahat pati yung sa verbal, analytical and gen.info. yung math lang po kaya kong i check.

    Im wendell.. first time ko po kasi mag take ng exam this coming august 2015.. gusto ko po sana humingi ng copy ng Civil service Reviewer... malaking maitutulong po nun para makapasa ako sa exam para ma regular na ako sa work.. kasalukuyan po akong casual/j.o sa municipyo po namin...

    Most of the answers in math category are wrong (i.e. nos. 111 onwards). Do a favor for people reading and will read your blog and correct your answer keys.

    kahit pumasa kapa ng sub-pro, di ka parin eligible na magtake ng pro. kailangan mo talaga makapagtapos ng pag-aaral at gumadruate para matake mo yong pro.

    you can work in any government department or offices and you are qualified for grant of eligibility under special laws and csc issuances.
